PERSONAL PROFILE:
My passion is creating something from nothing. I am a systems person that puts teams and people together based on the project. Businesses, organizations, and most functional entities need systems to operate effectively. I am team oriented, and enjoy working with all kinds of people and entities. I have a wife and 2 natural daughters and a bonus son. My oldest daughter works in theater. My youngest daughter is a lawyer. My son works for the City of Atlanta.
Developed the Caribbean Center for Understanding Media (C.C.U.M.-pronounced “see-come”) in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. CCUM was a non-profit tax-exempt (501c3) community-based media center that at its height had a paid staff of 9 people (5 full-time and 4 interns). CCUM provided government and corporate media training, media employment training for careers in the industry, and contracted production services. Receiving an FCC TV license for a low-power TV station (license was awarded to CCUM), and building a TV station in St. Croix, USVI. Shooting and Producing TV shows and specials for PBS, local TV, and Corporate clients.
Working as a freelance network soundman and Field Producer for the major networks including, but not limited to, CBS, ABC, & NBC News. Before working in network news, I worked in network sports as an A2. The A2 wires everything outside the truck, but it doesn’t mix the show. As an A2, I have worked professional and college basketball, baseball, football, tennis, and golf. My contractors were CBS, NBC, Turner, ABC, ESPN, & NCAA to name a few.
I have worked on shows such as 60 Minutes, Dateline, Good Morning America, Today Show, CBS Early Show, and Presidential campaigns (Hillary Clinton, John McCain, and Barack Obama). I also worked President Barack Obama’s Inauguration with CBS News.

I opened and managed ABC News Murphy, NC Satellite Bureau during the hunt for Eric Robert Rudolph, the convicted abortion clinic bomber. Working as Production Manager on BET’ s Comic View.
Work as Office of Special Projects Director (Event Planner) for the Nation of Islam since 2009. In this capacity, I negotiate all hotel & venue contracts, union labor concessions, production company contracts, design all the meeting room layouts w/AV, and work with all venue staff and managers. The annual convention is attended by 7,000 people, uses 1,500 sleeping rooms on peak, and sells 5,000 TRN’s.
Have worked internationally in countries such as Libya, Zimbabwe, Yemen, Ghana, Cuba, South Africa, Syria, Lebanon, Belize, Haiti, Grenada, Barbados, Jamaica, and too many other countries to name. Have a background developing Community Development Corporations (CDC’ s).
Created and produced a weekly magazine format show named “Visions” in Boston, MA. In its first year, Visions was nominated for a local Emmy. Conducted and developed media employment training programs for the economically disadvantaged and educationally deprived young adults in the Caribbean. Contracted agencies included CETA (Comprehensive Employment & Training Administration), JTPA (Job Training Partnership Act), Dept. of Labor, Education, Justice, and others. Possess an extensive background in AV production, from small meeting rooms to large venue staging, concerts, and production. Advisor/Consultant to the Grand Bassa Development Secretariat (an NGO) in Grand Bassa County, the largest county in Liberia West Africa. Distribute and sell Cameroon Arabica Boyo coffee secured directly from Cameroon coffee growers.
